A Peculiar Organ Newly Found in the Hydropsychidae (Trichoptera)

A peculiar organ, situated in the abdomen of adult female, is first reported in the Japanese Hydropsychidae. Its number and shape vary from species to species. The transverse section of the organ suggests that chemical substance may be produced.
