This is the third part of the series of the revisional study concerning the genus Plesiophthalmus and its allied genera. The present part deals with the following genera : Hoplobrachium FAIRMAIRE, 1886, Eumolpamarygmus PIC, 1923, Javamarygmus PIC, 1928, and Oogeton MIWA, 1939. Of these, Javamarygmus is hereby raised to the rank of a genus from that of a subgenus. All the species dealt with here are as follows : Hoplobrachium dentipes (FABRICIUS), Eumolpamarygmus bigibbosus PIC, E. nitidus PIC, E. vietnamensis sp. nov., E. paotao sp. nov., Javamarygmus tristis (PIC), J. maculosus (PIC), comb. nov., J. chingshanus (MASUMOTO), comb. nov., and Oogeton makii MIWA.
