A sleeping aggregation of Lasioglossum (Ctenonomia) kumejimense was observed in Iriomote Island, the Ryukyu Islands, southern Japan. A total of 13 males was found in a curled dry leaf hanging on a living plant, Elephantopus mollis, near the nesting site.
