We report a rare case of cryoglobulinemia with precipitation at 35℃. A 62-year-old man underwent cryofiltration to treat cryoglobulinemia accompanying chronic hepatitis C, and it was found that plasma precipitated at the relatively high temperature of 35℃. Various sympotoms occureed at a cryoglobulin level above 2,000 μg/ml. There was no significant difference in the removal of cryoglobulins by cryofiltration or double-filtration plasmapheresis (DFPP), since cryogel was precipitated at room temperature in the external circuit. He is currently being successfully managed on an outpatient basisi with DFPP to maintain the cryoglobulin level below 2,000 μg/ml, and has not shown any return of his initial symptoms.
