The method of integrated impulse response, is available to the reverberation measurement of resonant systems. Although this method shows the accurate reverberation times of complicated resonant systems, it often shows over averaged data of the decaying signals. Running averaging method shows continuous variation of smoothness if the time constant changed continuously. However, this method gives larger reverberation time than the real value when the time constant becomes large. If the averaging direction was selected reversal, this running averaging gives the accurate reverberation time. The smoothness of this averaging can be selected continuously from the degree of the input signal and the degree of the method of integrated impulse response. This report deals with the results of the examination about the reverse averaged reverberation time and the forward averaged reverberation time.
