Expression of N-ras Gene in Gliomas

N-ras遺伝子発現を星膠腫2例、膠芽腫4例(再発2例を含め6標本)、正常脳組織に関して調べた。再発膠芽腫の2標本でのみN-ras遺伝子発現が認められ、これら以外の標本では発現はなかった。趨芽腫6標本のN-ras遺伝子コピー数を正常脳組織と比較したが、差はなかった。再発膠芽腫に認められたN-ras遺伝子発現は転写の問題に起因すると思われた。N-ras遺伝子発現の認められた再発例2標本と再発前の2標本の病理的比較では、病理診断は4標本とも膠芽腫であったが、N-ras遺伝子発現が認められる再発標本のほうが悪性化していた。以上の所見より一部の膠芽腫に発現したN-ras遺伝子は腫瘍悪性化に関与していると思われた。
