Mammosomatotroph Adenoma Cells Secrete Both Growth Hormone and Prolactin

成長ホルモンとプロラクチンを同時に分泌するmammosmatotroph adenomaをサンドイッチ免疫細胞プロット法を用いて証明した. 症例は21歳女性で, 末端肥大症と無月経を主訴に来院した. 血性GHとPRLはそれぞれ70 ng/ml, 18 ng/mlでTRHに著明に反応した. 手術より得られた組織をもとに単一細胞浮遊液を作成し転写膜の間に注入し, サンドイッチ状態で1時間培養し, 一方をGH抗体, 他方をPRL抗体で免疫染色し, 一つの細胞から同時にGHとPRLが分泌されるのを確認した. 分泌細胞の89%がmammosomatotroph cellであったことよりmammosomatotroph adenomaと診断した. 術後の血性GHとPRLは1 ng/ml, 1.9 ng/mlとなり月経も回復した.
