Pattern forunation in a shrinking get is studied using the confocttl laser scanning taaicroscopeto reveal the tirne evolution of' the spati;tl distribtrtion of' the polynaer netxvork in the get. Thepolytner network is distribtrted unifornaly in the get at the early stage of' bubble patterta f'ornaation. The distribtrtion of the polynaer netxvorl< in the get, hoxvever, rapidly chatnges xvith tinae. Finally, holloxv bttbbles are lctrilt Lip in the get. This jcrocess occturs natrch f'aster than the cooperaxtivedifl'trsion of' the get.
