Dimensional Crossovers in the Doped Ladder System : Spin Gap,Superconguctivity and Interladder Coherent Band Motion

Based on the perturbative renormalization grotrp (PIG) approach, we have sttrdied dimensional crossovers in Httbbard ladders cotrpled via weak interladder one-particle hopping, ZL. Wefound that the one-particle crossover is strongly strppressed through growth of the intraladder scattering processes which lead the isolated Htrbbard ladder systena toward the spin gapmetal (SGIVI) phase. Conseqtrently xvhen t? sets in, there exists, for any finite intraladder Htrb-bard repulsion, U >0, the region where the two-particle crossover dotninates the one-particlecrossover and consequently the V-wave strpercondtrcting transition, which is regarded as a bipo-Baron condensation, occttrs. By solving the scz'tling eqtrations for the interladder one-particle andtwo-particle hopping amplitudes, we give phase diagrams of the system with respect to U, t3-g(initial value of ZL) and the tetaaperattrre, T, We couaapared the above ditnensional crossoverswith those in a weakly cotupled chain systeuau, clarifying the difl'erence between thena.
