Spin Gap and Superconductivity in Weakly Coupled Ladders:Interladder One-Particle vs.Two-Particle Crossover

Effects of the interladder one-particle hopping, ty, on the low-energy asytnjctotics of a xvea.klycoupled Htrbbard ladder system have beett sttrdied, based on the pertturbative renorunalization-grotrp approach. We found that for finite intraladder Httbbard reptrlsion, U, there exists acrossover value of the interladder one-t>article hotctcin:, tn.. For O< ZL< tic>the srin :atcunetal (SGIVI) plaase of' the isolated ladder transits art a finite transition teraaperattrre, T., to thed-xv?rve stnpercondtrcting (SCd) phase via a two-particle crossover. In the teunperattrre region,T< T., 'nnCerIadder coherent Josephson tunnelin.q of tl'ue Cooper pairs occurs, while the interladder coherent one-particle process is strongly strppressed. For Z!LC< t.n, arovtnd a crossovertemperature, T....., the systena crosses over to the txvo-dimensional (2D) phase via a one-particlecrossover. In the tenaperattrre region, T< T....., the interladder coherent band motion occxcrs.
