Magnetic Responses of Mean-Field Ising Models for Reentrant Spin Glasses

Linear and nonlinear magnetic responses of mean-field Ising models for reentrant spin glassesare investigated by means of Parish's replica-symmetry-breaking (RSB) scheme. We evaluate theresponses of one of free energy local minima (pure state) in the RSB phase, which are expectedto correspond to the zero-frequency limit of ac responses. At the trarasition point between thereplica-synametric and the RSB phases, which is regarded as the reentrant transition point of thesystems of interest, the responses do exhibit a cusp but do not diverge at all. The implicationof the results with reentrant transition observed experimentally is also discussed.
