We investigate the effect of spin fluctuations in isoelectronic alloys, A,Bz -,by using the self-consistent renormalization (SCR) theory combined with thecoherent potential approximation (CPA). The static susceptibility, the Knightshift, K 1 (i=A, B), and the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation 'time, T.., relevant toeach constituent atom of the alloy are calculated as functions of concentration,x, and of the temperature, 'II The relation that (7gK.)"T..=(7%K?)"T.. isshown to hold irrespective of x and T, where y'; is the nuclear-gyromagnetic ratioof the nucleus of the i-atom. Since the CPA breaks down rtear the critical point,at which the susceptibility diverges, we adopt the virtual-crystal approximationin place of the CPA for the study of the Curie temperature, which is given byT.cc(x. -,X')"' very near the critical concentration, x.. Numerical calculationsare made for the electron-gas model.
