We calculate the frequency-dependent electrical resistivity, R(co), of nearly andweakly ferromagnetic metals by applying the Mori formula to the two-bandmodel. Because of the scattering due to spin fluctuations, the complex resistivityat low temperatures has a pronounced freqttency dependence, which yields thenotable enhancement of the optical mass and the significant deviation from theDrude formula of the conductivity. It is suggested that optical measurements inthe far-infrared region may provide a valuable tool for probing the spin-fluctuationspectrum, D(a), which is shown to be expressed at 7'=0 K by D(co)=(N.e'/m) x[2<l9*'(o)/2a-j-a2'7?'(a)/2o'], where 7?'(a) is the real part of 7?(a) and is obtain-able by the optical experiment.
