The magnetic excitations in the chain direction of an S : 2 Ileisenberg antiferromagneticchain, CsCrCl3, were zneasured at 20, 50, 80 and 120 K above the three-dimensional orderingtemperature ('Z'N : 16 K) by inelastic neutron-scattering experiments. The dynaznical scatteringfunction at the ternperattures used in the present stttdy was foutad to be well described by aclassical one-dirnensional Heisenberg model.
