The stability of antiferronaagnetism and the metal-setniconductor transition are investigatedin strongly correlated f-electron systems with UNiSn in mind. We introduce an effective Hamiltonian which incltzdes the inter-atomic antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between near-est neighbor f-spins as a result of hybridization between condtrction- and localized f-electrons.Based on the naodel, the phase diagram is investigated with regard to the magnetic and themetal-semiconductor phase transitions. We found the possible stability of the antiferromagneticstate even in the rnetallic phase, wlaich was already suggested by our previotrs study trsing theperturbation expansion in the p?tramagnetic semiconducting state. The dependence of the Neeltemperature on the energy gap is also shown to agree qualitatively with the observed behavior.
