From the general considerations, the coexistence of ferro- and antiferromag-netism is discttssed in ttniaxially anisotropic itinerant electron systems. Especiallyin an easy-axis type anisotropic system, it is pointed out that the coexistent statesand the phase transitions are significantly different from those in an isotropicsystem: (i) The following two canted states realize in addition to a ferrimagneticstate. The magnetization vectors cant symmetrically with respect to the easy axis inone state and to the hard plane in another state. (ii) Both ferrimagnetic andcanted states can be realized successively in an anisotropic system. The conditions for the coexistence and the phase diagrams in '7,; ' - z;' andff-Tplanes are discussed.
