Lavas phase compounds (Y.Zr. .)Fe. have C15 structure, and are ferromagnetic.They absorb hydrogen under the condition of l aim, room temperature, to formhydrides (Y.Zr. .)Fe.H,. Hydrogen content y increases from O(ZrFe.) to 4.2(YFe.)with x continuously. The dependence of jt.. and T. of hydrides on x is different forhydrogen content, namely .);>3 or .);<3. In .y>3, the hydrogen is assumed to formspinel structure with parent compound and the hydrogen is in II like state. In ,v<3,it is assumed that the hydrogen forms solid solution in H" like state.
