A rescattering effect in the multiple scattering is calculated for the transitionamplitude of quasi-free scattering in the reaction p-fd ->p-Vjt-X-n. The calculatedresults reproduce, except for a limited region, the ratio of the experimental crosssection to the calculation on a spectator model in an impulse approximation. Wefind that the effect of the second scattering term artd the spin factor are importantin the difference between the p-p and p-n quasi-free scatterings.
