Kinematically complete experiments were made for the 'He(a, ad)'H reaction atan incident energy of 1 19 MeV to investigate excited states of 'He. In the coin-cident euaergy spectra, bumps were observed at the energies corresponding to theexcitations of 25.5 MeV, 27.S MeV, 29.7 MeV, 31.7 MeV and 35.3 MeV. In theexcitatioza range from 28 MeV to 40 MeV, the angular correlations were fitted withthe Legendre polynomials and compared with theoretical distributions based ontwo-step reaction mechanism. For the last three bumps mentioned above, thespins and parities are assigned as J"=2", 2" (1 -) and 2", respectively.[ NUCLEAR REACTIONS 'He(cx,cx'), 'He(a,ad), f=119 MeV; 'He ]L excited states, angular correlation analyses.Ill
