The gamma-gamma angular correlations on 17 cascades in "'Xe from thedecay of "'I have been measured using a Ge(Li)-Nal(Tl) coincidence set-up.Out of these, the correlation coefficients of the 363 -772, 650 -(523) -772, 877(523)-772, 910-772 and 910 -(772) -668 keV cascac[es have been measured forthe first time. These measurements have been used to deduce the multipole mixingratios of 11 transitions in "'Xe. The results are: J(363)= -0.023.1.0.023, (5(523) = -0.23 .1-0. l 6, ,5(630) = 6. I ! tx:, ,>(650) = -0. l 6 +0. I l , ,5(877) = - l .2 .t-0.5, J(955)= -0.033.f0.033, J(1136)=O.45.i0.O5, J(1173)= -0.6-1.0.4 or2.0i3:3, J(1372)=0.02.i.0.07, J(1399)=0.04i0.02 and (5(1442)= -O.02i0.03. 'the directional correlation results have also been used to deduce the spinvalue of 4" to each of the 1962.9, 2394.9 and 2840.5 keV levels and those of 3"and 3" or 5" to the 2669.9 and 2350.7 keV levels respectively.RADIOACTIVI'FY "'Te [from ""Ue(u,y)]; measured 7y (O) "'Xe,[deduced]l, J' Ge(Li)-Nal(Tl) set-up.
