• The level structure of "'Co has been studied irx detail in the present work.The energies and relative intensities of 37 gamma rrtys following the 73- decay of"'La have been measured with a high precision. A new gamma ray has beenobserved at 1303.3 keV energy and has been placed. between 2899.5 and 1596.17keV levels of "'Ce. Also, a new level has been proposed at 3000.7 keV in c>rderto fit 1097.2 and 1404.9 keV gamma rays in the level scheme of "'Ce. All but twogamma rays with energies 1045.0 and 1924.4 keV have been placed in the ctecayscheme.In addition 7-y angular correlation measurements have been carried ottt onnine cascades. Spin assignments of 4" and 1 " have: been confirmed to the levelsat 2515.71 and 2547.15 keV from the present directio:mal correlation measurements.Also, multipole mixing ratios in the 329, 432, 487, 752, 816, 868, 919, 925 and951 keV 7-transitions have been measured.RADIOACTIVITY "'Co from 73- decay of ""La, measured [, I., )t7(Co Inc.), yy(0), spins and multipole admixturccs, Ge(Li), Go(Li) -Na(Tl)detectors.
