Plasma current density profile in a noncircular tokamak TNT is obtainedfrom the direct measurements of the poloidal magnetic field. Magnetic probesare inserted to measure the poloidal magnetic field in the plasma in a low currentoperation. The elongation ratio e estimated from these me?t.surements is about1.8 at the current peak and decreases with time due to the current peaking.
