The Coulomb-Born approximation has been used to ealctulate the cross sectionsof electron impact excitation in beryllium-like ions (C III, PI TV, 0 V and Ne Vll)for the 2s" S->2s2p 'Ptransition. [n order to be applicable to high-temperatureplasmas the cross sections for respective ions have beett obtained at impactelectron energies from thresltold to 4 keV.
