General formulae for the free energy and the conductivity in the presence of amagnetic field are obtained for the system of electrons in a two-dimensional Wignercrystal on the surface of liquid He when the electrons interact with the surfaceroughness created by ripplons. The dc magneto-resistance is calculated explicitly andis shown to differ qualitatively from the result for the independent electron system.
