New results for the free energy of a polaron in a strong magnetits field arepresented. The method used here is the extended version of Feynman's path-integral formalism in which the most general quadratic form con1.aining annnfinite number of variational rarameters is emr>loved to simulate the vzariationaltrial action. A set of nonlinear integral equations is established to determinethe upper bound for the free energy in the entire range of electron-phouaon coupe-ing constants, temperatures and magnetic fields. Analytical solution's are pro-vided for some limiting cases of interest, and are compared critically with existingcalculations of the ground-state energy at zero temperature. The free energy thusobtained is exact to the lowest order in the coupling constant and pr'ovides thegood interpolation up to the strong coupling regime.
