Viscosity Coefficients of a Plasma in a Strong Magnetic Field : Application of the Quantum Mechanical Unified Theory

The coulomb logarithm for the viscosity coefficient of a plasma in a magnetic field is determined exactly by the quantum mechanical unified theory. The magnetic field is assumed so strong that the condition, Debyelength ≪ ion gyration radius ≪ mean free path, is satisfied. For a hydrogenic plasma, the quantum correction to the coulomb logarithm can not be neglected if the temperature is higher than 10^6 K.
