In this paper, a theory, called Weakest Bound Electron Potential IN/Iodel Theory, is ernployedto study the transition probability of low states of' Na, K, Rb and Cs. The pararaaeters aredetermined by solving the cotrpled equations: concerning energy e and tlte radial expectationvalue<7'>.1 of the weakest bound electron. Sonae transition probabilities of alkali tnetal atomsare given to show the reliability of the present tnethod. Tlae more acctrrate the<7'>..1 and energy:, the better the calculated restrlts of the transition probabilities.
