Principal component analysis ( PCA ) utilizing a personal computer can be a new method of making science, if it is used properly to establish any scientific theme and conclusion. Observational data of a quantity which is the most inherent to the conclusion is lastly added to the PCA system that has been made without those data. Then, the new PCA should find a new principal component, having a significant eigenvalue to be representing the conclusion. The new method is applied to calibrate the method of distance determination of mass-losing infrared stars.
