• In this paper, the authors discuss structural properties of a simple polymer chain confined in two parallel impenetrable adsorbing walls. The effects of both the wall distance under the constant number of segments of a polymer condition and the number of segments at the constant wall distance have been investigated. We obtained specific transitions and physical properties in terms of the Helmholtz free energy and the specific heat. Under the condition that the wall distance roughly equals to the radius of gyration of an isolated polymer, the free energy has double minimum as a function of the radius of gyration and the transition takes place. This transition temperature shifts to a lower temperature as the wall distance decreases. At the lower temperature, another transition takes place.
