Photoproduction of Polarized Hypernuclei

On the basis of the phenomenological parametrization for the elementary γ+p→Λ+K^+ process amplitudes, the cross sections and polarizations have been estimated for the (γ,K^+) reactions on typical p-shell targets. Characteristic aspects of the reaction are discussed in comparison with the π and K-induced reactions.
