The asymptotic form of the mass term of the quark propagator is examined in Coulomb gauge QCD to some approximation. Analogous results are obtained to the ones previously derived by renormalization-group techniques and the operator-product expansion in Landau gauge. It provides an important constraint to evaluate the qq^^- condensate.
