We study the one-loop gravitational contribution to the effective potential on CP_2 manifold. A regularization technique which makes possible to calculate the effective potential in this case is proposed. We investigate the compactification in the 11-dimensional Kaluza-Klein theory. The compactification into 7-dimensional Minkowski spacetime×CP_2 does not take place, but there exists another metastable compactification solution, which is anti de-Sitter spacetime.
