Analytic property of the lattice spin or gauge system with irnproved action is studied. The existence of two regions is shown. In one of the regions the two-point function or the expectation value of the Wilson loop decays with oscillation. In the other region it decays exponentially. The boundary of the two regions is branch point. Systematic procedure to obtain the strong coupling expansion series for the mass gap or the string tension is also shown.
