Two-body decay amplitudes of nucleon in grand unification theories are calculated in a relativistic quark model of hadrons. The effect of relativistic motion of quarks inside hadrons is very large, leading to drastic deviations from non-relativistic calculations. The amplitudes of such decay modes as N→πe^+(ν_e^c),ωe^+(ν_e^c) and ρe^+(ν_e^c) are enhanced by a factor of 1.5 to 3. On the contrary, the modes such as N→ηe^+(ν_e^c) are suppressed to be almost vanishing. The nucleon lifetime and branching ratio in the case of SU(5) and SO(10) unification theories are presented. The lifetime of proton becomes τ_p=(1.5-4.2)×10^<31> years for M_x=6.0×10^<14> GeV in the SU(5) unification model.
