Rules for the change of the torsion number and the relative torsion number are proved for pitchfork, period doubling and period multiplying bifurcations. The change of these quantities are investigated in 2^n bifurcation regime in the Rossler model. Global topology change in a parameter space is investigated in the Lorenz model.
