Observable States in the Representations of BRS Algebra : Particles and Fields

In BRS algebra there are singlet and doublet representations, and the latter is interpreted as representing unobservable confined states. The decomposition of a given Fock state into these representations is not unique, however. In this article we give a criterion for picking out observable states.
