The technique of the Sp(6,R) algebra gives a practical method of constructing Pauli-allowed states of multi-cluster systems in a basis of the group chain Sp(6,R)⊃SU (3). As a test of the method an explicit construction of the Pauli-allowed states is made for the very simple examples of 3α and ^<16>O + 2α systems.
