It is shown that the BRS invariant vertex, on whatever ghost vacuum it is constructed, is unique if the form of connection conditions is specified. It is characterized as a Bogoliubov transformed "vacuum" of the oscillator modes at the interaction point. An improved method for its BRS invariance proof is also presented by which the necessity of the correct intercept parameter becomes clear.
