Canonical Ensemble Formalism for Multiple Production

A canonical ensemble formalism is applied to multiple production. In the case that the particles produced are degenerate, the formalism is exact. The mass difference of the particles is taken into account and the results are consistent with the refined Fermi model. The multiplicity of particles is given by an easy calculation.
