On the Isospin Structure of the Strange Particle Decays

The isospin structure of the strangeness changing decays is studied on the basis of phenomenological analysis of Y_<Nπ>, K_<2π>, Y_l and K_<l3> decays by taking into account the |ΔI|=1/2 and |ΔI|=3/2 interactions. On the nonleptonic decays, the validity of the |ΔI|=1/2 rule is examined and it is found that the |ΔI|≠1/2 part of the decay amplitudes is likely to be as large as at most one-tenth of that of |ΔI|=1/2. As to the leptonic decays, it is shown that the |ΔI|=3/2 parts, with ΔS/ΔQ=+1 as well as ΔS/ΔQ=-1, are also fairly small as compared with the |ΔI|=1/2 part. Some restrictions to the theoretical parameters are mostly presented in the figures.
