Gluon Distribution and Structure Function of Real Photons

In a previous paper, the parton distributions at small x were obtained by using the hadronic input with a Pomeron cut exchange for the gluon and the sea quark and by introducing an O(α_s(Q^2))term for the point-like parts. Here we extend this approach to the region of large x. We show that the predictions of the gluon distribution, G^γ(x, Q^2), and the structure function, F^γ_2(x, Q^2), are in good agreement with the OPAL experimental data at large x.
