The photon structure function F_2^γ(x, Q^2) is given, which is obtained by inversion from its moments, by using a method proposed here. In our inversion method, the structure function is expressed by a series of orthogonal polynomials, which is composed by using its moments given numerically at some successive points in the moment(n)-space. It is confirmed that the non-singlet structure functions in the one-loop order, obtained by our method, agree well with those obtained by analytical inversion. Our method can be applied to the functions having more complicated mathematical structure, that is, to the singlet structure function or those of higher order. The resultant F_2^γ(x, Q^2) in the one-loop order is shown graphically for various Q^2.
