Using A.Bohr's collective model, the gamma-transition of nuclei is studied by the approximations of weak and strong couplings. In the M4-transition, the agreement of experimental data with theoretical results is in general much better on this model than one predicted on other nuclear models, if the strong coupling approximation is adopted. The results of these two approximations are compared with one another. The difference between them comes from contributions due to a deformed core. These contributions, and consequently the difference between the weak and strong coupling approximations, increase with the order of multipolarity of radiation. In E3-transition(j-forbiddenness), such as those between p_<1 / 2> and 7 / 2+states, it is necessary to take into account the nuclear configuration mixing due to the surface coupling. Especially, the coupling with deformations of order three is important for these transitions.
