Inelastic Form Factors of the Proton in ep, πp and pp Scattering

In order to find a "similarity" among inelastic ep, πp and pp scattering, we analyze the experimental data of multiparticle production processes. In ep and πp scattering, we show that inelastic form factors of the proton are common to these two processes, independently of the incident particles, and except for over all strength. By making use of our result, fragmentation and pionization cross sections of pp scattering are estimated. As a result, we find that σ_<frag>≃1/4σ_<tot> and σ_<pion>≃1/2σ_<tot>, and these are almost independent of the c.m. squared energy s for large s.
