The Virasoro representation is investigated for pion-nucleon charge exchange scattering. Our Virasoro model consists of particular combinations of the Regge trajectories exchanged in the s, t and u channels. Here, we take into account only the amplitudes which show the leading asymptotic behavior. No ambiguous satellite terms are considered. The forward and the backward differential cross sections, an effective Regge trajectory, polarization of the final neutron and imaginary parts of the amplitudes at t=0 are calculated and compared with experiment. As a result, we can obtain a fairly good agreement with experiment. Based on the Virasoro model, other hadron collisions are also discussed in connection with a dip at |t|≃0.6.
