Rotational Motion in Deformed Even Nucleus and Magnetic Octupole-Moments and -Transitions

The results on magnetic octupole-moments and -transitions given in a microscopic theory of nuclear rotational motion, which was recently developed by Gross and the present authors, are compared with those shown by Bohr's rotational model for the case of groundstate rotational band of deformed even nucleus. Through this comparison, it can be concluded that this theory may be successful for the microscopic description of rotational motion.
