Neutron-deuteron scatting in the 14〜146 MeV region is studied in a modified impulse approximation proposed in a previous paper: the ordinary impulse approximation is applied only to an outer part of a deuteron and the rest is treated as an elementary particle. A correction due to the D-state component of the deuteron wave function is investigated in detail. The correction is positive and appreciable in the differential cross sections above 95 MeV and at the intermediate scattering angles of 50゜〜120゜. The improves satisfactorily a previous result in which the D-state component is not explicitly taken into account.
