We discuss the deep inelastic process in the framework of the multiperipheral parton models (the Kogut-Susskind model and its Reggeized form). The emphasis is put on that the ladder model view, where the photon is absorbed only by the end particle of the ladder, is irrelevant. It is shown that the other diagrams, where internal charged parton absorbs the photon, give important contributions, and the parton model view comes out. These latter cases need the final state interactions and generally give rise to the breaking of the factorizability of the deep process.
