Magnetic Susceptibility of the Strongly Correlated Hubbard Model

The uniform and the staggered magnetic susceptibility are obtained for the strongly correlated single-band Hubbard model by making use of the perturbational expansion in terms of the transfer integral up to fourth order. It turns out that the ferromagnetic coupling exists in three or two dimensions for the electron density between 8/11 and unity. From a qualitative analysis it is suggested that in sc lattice the ferromagnetic ordering is difficult to realize but in bcc the possibility remains.
