Extrapolation of the Structure Function νW_2 from the Deep Inelastic Region down to the Resonance Region in e-p Scattering

The structure function νW_2 in the deep inelastic region for electron-proton scattering is modified by using a parton model to be extrapolated to the intermediate region where resonance behaviour obviously appears to show which mechanism is responsible for the scaling invariance. Our conclusion is that (1) the resonance mechanism also contributes to scaling invariance in the deep inelastic region for e-p scattering and (2) on the parton model Harari's conjecture is roughly confirmed.
